I'm happy to receive these lovely awards from Luiza of Brazil. Luiza is a dedicated environmentalist she's been working toward nature preservation. HOPING TO LEARN SPANISH & TWO AWARDS FROM ITALY

a simple pasta dish and a glass of Cynar on ice,I just got these Spanish dvd's. I'm pretty excited about it. It's been years since I learned Latin and I don't remember a whole lot. I won't be fluent, but at least get a grip on the language My dinner tonight, simple pasta and I didn't make the pasta myself . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This great award comes from Jul e Mo, a lovely couple in Fruili, Italy. Really sweet and genuine people you can't help but love.Check out their blog. TORTELLONI

My filling consists of ricotta cheese, Parmigiano, parsley, freshly grated nutmeg & pepper. I add some stuffing to the pasta squares, and fold. Boil them. I'm using a plain butter and garlic sauce. a little more freshly grated cheese on top, Now, I'm ready to eat a delicious dinner on a chilly night. Enjoy !

THE FRUITS OF LABOR

Harvest time, the time to reap what you sow, people of all ages celebrating, among Fall foilage ...more pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns It began a cloudy, rainy day. then the sun came out. I spent every minute I could outdoors, enjoying nature. A lovely day !

ROASTED TOMATOES

(these tomatoes are my own, from my garden) They are still producing after slicing off top of tomatoes, add bread crumbs,parmigiano cheese , garlic & parsley on top. Bake till bread crumbs brown.Here I'm eating them with chicken cutlets, a nice combination. Enjoy ! (these are the books I'm reading this week)

TEN YEARS AGO

I got this palm plant when it was very small and I lived with my sister in an apartment. Time goes by so fast, doesn't it ?
