A SUNDAY AFTERNOON WALK

This was an idyllic day for a leisurely stroll. A perfect Indian Summer day, alive with color and sunshine. The temperature was 61F with no winds or breezes. This weather won't last long, It's been pretty cold recently. And I was so happy to enjoy the outdoors for hours. The ground is covered in leaves of yellow, reds and golds. This labradoodle (part poodle, part lab)devotedly awaits her master, a shop owner. Autumn is my favorite season.I stayed out till sunset, which is just a little past 5 pm.

INDIA PALE ALE

This was a new one that I tried out. It was very good.
India pale ales are good for a change of taste - extra hops.
This one I have had before.
I tried this anniversary stout too but, I like the regular Guinness.
There are many more India pale ales made by small breweries (microbrews) that I have not tried.

Enjoy, Brad:)

DRIED FENNEL

Pretty yellow flowers of the fennel plant will soon begin to seed. It's said to have diuretic and anti septic properties. I just use it as a spice After a trim, it goes in the oven, and when it's a dark bluish green,it sits overnight to thoroughly dry and then stored in air tight containers for seasoning. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ These are the books I'll be reading this week.
