EASTER EGG DECORATING

There's many ways to decorate Easter eggs although I'm unfamiliar with most, here's some of my favorites. I like blown eggs (the contents are emptied) and they last for years with some lacquer. Just poke a hole in each end and blow all contents out. Here's the easiest with vegetable coloring. The longer they are soaked, the deeper the color. Great fun for children! Another easy way is the egg sleeves. You can either boil the egg and the plastic shrinks to fit the egg or use a hairdryer for empty eggs as I've done. The egg in front has not been shrunk yet. I got these sleeves cheap at the Polish store. The eggs below on the right are ones I've painted by hand & are a few years old. The three eggs on the top right are Polish wooden eggs, one has a lamb , another has a swan & a flower. Whatever way you decorate Easter eggs, I love them all ! Enjoy, friends :) ♥
